Integrated PEHTI Co-PI Team
The Pennsylvania Expanded HIV Testing Initiative (PEHTI) is a PA DOH-directed initiative led by an integrated collaboration team of Co-Investigators from the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH), Penn State College of Medicine (PSCOM), & Penn State College of Education. As implementation matures, the focus and project capacity is transitioning to technical support for: a) scale-up of site operations to truly routine opt-out HIV screening through PEHTI protocols, and b) USPSTF grade A recommendations on opt-out screening (& the implications for insurance reimbursement/billing). Accordingly, the integrated PA DOH – PSCOM/PSU team reflects consolidation of the strengths of PEHTI projects:
